John Alten

John Alten's work experience begins in 1999 when they were an Associate at Squire Sanders & Dempsey. John then joined Ulmer & Berne LLP in 2004 as an Associate before becoming a Partner in 2008. At Ulmer & Berne LLP, they had a broad litigation practice and also served as Counsel and Director of Associate Development, where they oversaw recruiting, training, and mentoring of young attorneys. In addition to their roles at law firms, John Alten has served as a Board Member for the Cleveland Law Library Association since 2017 and Community Resource Services since 2013.

John Alten received their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Journalism at Northwestern University from 1990 to 1994. John'seducation started at Bay High School, where they completed their secondary education from 1986 to 1990.
