Mitchell Belz

Mitchell Belz has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering and healthcare fields. Mitchell worked as a Product Development Engineer at ulrich medical USA starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were a Biomedical Engineer at Quick Shot Corporation from 2021 to 2022, where they focused on prototyping and troubleshooting their veterinary injections system. Mitchell also collected technical documentation for patent applications and developed new specifications and documentation for device development.

Mitchell worked as a Project Engineering Intern at Epimed in 2021, where they designed and troubleshot up-scaling procedures for novel processes. Mitchell also performed design verification, ISO validation, and quality assurance on final products, validated and certified equipment, and conducted point-of-failure testing.

In 2019, Mitchell served as the Project Lead for UARK Biomedical Engineering Senior Design Projects. Mitchell led a team in creating a novel medical cart for children with airway difficulties, collaborating with the Air for Airiel foundation to meet technical needs.

Mitchell previously interned as a Biomedical Device Intern at Quick Shot Corporation in 2020, where they designed use cases and product overviews for a new animal fluid injection product. Mitchell also authored product specifications and edited engineering documents.

Outside of the engineering field, Mitchell worked as the Camp Health Officer for the Boy Scouts of America: Circle Ten Council from 2018 to 2020. Mitchell provided medical services to campers and staff, ensuring their health and safety. Mitchell also taught first aid and tactical response.

Additionally, Mitchell served as a Resident Assistant at the University of Arkansas from 2018 to 2020, and worked as a Lifeguard and Pool Manager for the Boy Scouts of America: Circle Ten Council from 2014 to 2017.

Mitchell Belz began their education journey in 2017 at the University of Arkansas, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Mitchell dedicated their time to academic studies until their graduation in 2021. In 2018, Mitchell briefly attended Dallas College, where they focused on Prehospital Emergency Medicine and obtained certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians in July of that same year.
