Dumitru Brinza

Senior Director, Computational Biology - NGS Bioinformatics at Ultima Genomics

Dumitru Brinza has a strong background in bioinformatics and computational biology. Dumitru has held several senior roles in reputable companies and organizations. Dumitru Brinza obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Universitatea de Stat din Moldova, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Dumitru then pursued a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on Bioinformatics at Georgia State University from 2004 to 2007. Following this, Dumitru completed a Post-doctoral program in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics at UC San Diego from 2007 to 2009.
