Alex Hess

Alex Hess has a diverse work history, with experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as an Electronics Sales Associate at Sears, Roebuck and Co., where they excelled in sales and customer relations. From 2007 to 2008, they held roles as a Dock/Warehouse Worker and Systems and Facilities technician at Family Express Corporation, demonstrating their technical troubleshooting skills and multitasking abilities. They also worked as a Sales Associate at Art Hill Ford-Lincoln-Mercury in 2007.

In 2011, they transitioned to the manufacturing industry, working as a Packaging Operator at Albanese Confectionery Group, Inc., where they operated automated machines and ensured the quality packaging of gummi products.

In 2012, they began their career in IT, starting as a Systems Engineer at Golden Technologies, where they managed multiple customer accounts and implemented policies for automation and streamlining processes. They further developed their IT skills at Community Health Systems, serving as a Server Engineer and providing support to multiple hospitals and clinics.

From 2015 to 2021, Alex worked as a Director of IT at City Mattress, overseeing the company's IT department and implementing efficient workflows and procedures.

Since 2021, they have been working as a Director of IT at Matter Brothers Furniture & Mattress, where they have successfully established an IT department, modernized the infrastructure, and developed a roadmap to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

In the future, Alex will be joining Ultimate Medical Academy as the Director of Information Technology Operations in 2023.

Alex Hess received an Associates degree in Business Management from Purdue University, where they attended from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Wheeler High School from 2005 to 2007.
