Laura Anderson

Laura Anderson has worked in the personal care industry for over a decade. Laura began their career in 2001 as a Summer Intern/Lab Assistant at Colonial Chemical, Inc. In 2007, they moved to the University of Southern Mississippi as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Lochhead Group where they mentored undergraduates on projects, papers and poster presentations. Laura also studied and characterized a wide variety of polymer/surfactant interactions and preformed formulations studies in color cosmetics. In 2010, they were a Summer Intern at L'Oréal and a Chemist at their US Nail Lab. In 2013, they joined Ultra Chemical, Inc. as the North American Sales Manager and Technical Sales for the Southeast Territory. In this role, they worked with natural, mineral-based UVA/UVB protection for sun and skin care, technologies that address wrinkle reduction and dry skin, dark spot reduction and sebum control, and prebiotic solutions for a balanced skin microbiota.

Laura Anderson attended Girls Preparatory School from 1997 to 2003, where they earned their High School Diploma. Laura then attended Rollins College from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a B.A. in Chemistry. Lastly, they attended The University of Southern Mississippi from 2007 to 2013, studying Polymer Science.
