Umberto Martinho

Umberto Martinho has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Umberto began their career as an Internal Auditor at Louis Dreyfus Company in 2000. From 2005 to 2011, they worked at CMA CGM, where they held various financial positions including Internal Audit Manager and Finance Director for the Central America & Caribbean region. In 2011, they joined Teva Pharmaceuticals as Finance Director for the Latam region. In 2014, they moved to Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and served as Director of Shared Services Latam and later as Senior Director of Latam Finance. Umberto'sresponsibilities included financial planning and analysis, accounting and control, and financial operations. Since 2019, they have been working at Ultragenyx as Vice President of International Finance, responsible for the financial operations and strategic partnerships in the international market.

Umberto Martinho completed a Master's degree in Finance from the University of Nottingham - Nottingham University Business School / Universite de Toulouse Capitole 1 from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a MSG (Maitrise) degree in Management and Finance from Université Toulouse 1 Capitole from 1997 to 1999.
