Sheri Kizer, CPA

Sheri Kizer, CPA has extensive experience in finance and accounting. Sheri began their career as an Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen in 1993, where they worked until 2002. Sheri then transitioned to the role of Chief Financial Officer at Santa Ana Star Casino from 2002 to 2007. During their time there, they implemented improvements in financial reporting processes and accounting internal controls, presented financial information to the Tribal Council, and conducted regular financial meetings with department managers. In 2007, Sheri joined Sandia Resort & Casino as the Chief Financial Officer (Director of Finance). In this role, they directed and managed the accounting and finance activities of the Pueblo's enterprises, provided strategic financial analysis and forecasting to executive management and operations, and implemented improved purchasing practices. Sheri left Sandia Resort & Casino in 2015 to become the Chief Financial Officer at Ultramain Systems, Inc., where they currently work.

Sheri Kizer, CPA, obtained a BA in Accounting from New Mexico State University. Sheri also holds a BBA in Business Administration - Finance from the same university. In addition, Sheri has obtained certifications as a Certified Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and as a Certified Public Accountant from the New Mexico Regulation & Licensing Department.
