Derek Feagans

Derek Feagans has extensive work experience in the legal field. Derek currently holds the role of Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel at UMB Bank, starting in January 2021. Prior to this, they were the Managing Attorney at FEAGANS LLC from 2019 to 2021. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the General Counsel at ProPharma Group. Before that, they held the position of Principal - Chief Legal Officer at The DVS Group from 2016 to 2017. Derek also worked as an Independent Legal Consultant at Cerner Corporation in 2015. From 2007 to 2015, they were Vice President/General Counsel at Bernstein-Rein Advertising. Derek'searlier career includes roles as an Associate at Bryan Cave from 2005 to 2007, at Stinson Morrison Hecker from 2002 to 2005, and at Armstrong Teasdale LLP from 1998 to 2002.

Derek Feagans received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from Avila University in 1995. After that, they pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Law from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, completing it in 1998.
