Arya Daroui

Arya Daroui is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer at Umbra since October 2023, responsible for developing command and control software for spacecraft and creating software interfaces for avionics, guidance, and navigation systems. Previously, Arya held positions as a Staff Computer Engineer at Western Digital, a Graduate Researcher at UC Irvine, and a Computer Engineer at CiyaSoft, where responsibilities included designing digital signal processing and machine learning algorithms. Arya's experience also includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and a Plant Engineering Intern at Weber Metals, Inc. Arya holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Irvine, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, and an Associate of Science in Physics from Saddleback College.
