Xin Zhang is currently an Associate Professor at University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science. Prior to this, they held the position of Assistant Professor at the same institution. Before joining the University of Maryland, Xin Zhang worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Princeton University. They also had experience as an Intern at the United Nations, where they later became the Executive Coordinator Office for Rio+20. Xin Zhang holds a Ph.D in Environmental Studies from Yale School of the Environment and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Science from Yale University. They also earned a Master's degree in Environmental Science from Peking University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences from Ocean University of China (OUC).
