Mohammed Waseem Hussain is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Michigan since February 2023, previously serving in a similar role at Hanyang University from September 2020 to February 2023. With a strong background in the synthesis of polymers and conjugated molecules, Mohammed has focused on porous polymers and cages for applications in organic photovoltaics, molecular separation, light-emitting diodes, and catalysis of CO2 into value-added products. Mohammed completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research in Bhopal from January 2014 to November 2019, and obtained a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from Osmania University, Hyderabad, from September 2011 to July 2013.
