Vincent Verruto

Vincent Verruto has a diverse work experience in various industries. Vincent is currently working at Umoja Biopharma as the Director of Systems Integration & Data Management, where they lead a team in developing data solutions to enhance efficiency and add value to the organization. Prior to this, Vincent held several roles at Novozymes, including Head of Global Capacity Network, Sr. Manager of Americas Planning, Product & Supply Coordinator, Senior Research Engineer, and Downstream Optimization Team Leader. At PetroBeam Inc., they served as a Technical Program Manager, being actively involved in engineering and R&D projects. Vincent also worked as a Ph.D. Student at North Carolina State University, focusing on asphaltene self-assembly, and as a Post-Graduate Intern at Merck Research Labs, working in formulations development. Vincent began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Delaware, studying protein-protein interactions and bioseparation performance.

Vincent Verruto holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, which they earned from North Carolina State University between 2003 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a B.ChE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware, completing their undergraduate studies from 1999 to 2003.
