Maria F. has a diverse work experience in various industries. Maria is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of uMore, a mental health care platform that aims to improve patient and clinician engagement. Prior to this, they worked as a Health and Wellbeing Program Fellow at Google for Startups EU and as a Fellowship Member at What If Fellowship. Maria also served as the Head of Customer Growth at Careem, a technology platform in the Middle East, where they played a role in customer acquisition and product management. Maria has experience as a Growth Lead at LEO Innovation Lab, focusing on AI-based Skin Diagnostics, and as the CMO and Co-Founder of Valiat Technologies, a blockchain application for secure derivatives trading. Maria has also worked as the Head of Growth Hacking at TwentyThree, contributing to the development of video marketing products, and as an Associate Digital Marketing Manager at The LEGO Group, overseeing digital marketing strategies. Maria began their career as a Digital Marketing & Acquisition Manager at Saxo Bank.

Maria F. has a Bachelor's degree in Information Management from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Maria also holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration - Applied Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School, with their thesis focused on "The Predictability of Stock Market Behavior Using Twitter Sentiment."

Additionally, Maria has obtained certifications in Google Analytics and AdWords Search from Google in August 2016.
