Shruti Majumdar

Shruti Majumdar, PhD, currently serves as the Global Lead for Impact and Learning at the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women, overseeing the Learning Hub and supporting civil society organizations globally. Prior roles include Deputy Country Representative and Programme Manager for the Afghanistan Country Office of UN Women, where Shruti managed programs focused on women's rights amidst humanitarian challenges. Shruti's earlier experience at The World Bank involved advising on gender-based violence action plans and leading significant evaluations. Additionally, Shruti engaged in research on sex trafficking and gender equity at various institutions, including Apne Aap Women Worldwide and Brown University, where a PhD in Sociology was obtained.
