Violeta Malheiro Swart has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Violeta started their career at St Julians School as a 1st grade Teacher's Assistant. Violeta then interned at HOUSE OF BLUEEYES and Time Out, gaining experience in social media press, fashion events, and marketing research. Violeta continued their internships at Rodale Inc. as a Fashion Cupboard Intern for Women's Health Magazine and at 5th House PR as a Press Intern.
In 2015, Violeta joined Trendstop.com as a Sales Support Executive and Junior Account Executive, where they assisted with customer experience, managed accounts, and negotiated deals with new clients. Violeta then worked at Uniplaces as a Bookings Agent and Key Account Support, providing operational support for key accounts in the Portuguese, Spanish, German, and Italian markets.
In 2017, Violeta joined Web Summit as a Startups Coordinator, curating and fostering relationships with technology startups globally. Violeta also assisted in setting up the company's international office in Lisbon and managed office projects and vendor relationships.
From 2018 to 2021, Violeta worked at Unbabel in various roles, including Alliances (Partnerships) Manager, Senior Partnerships Manager, Senior Customer Success Manager, Customer Success Team Lead, and Head of Customer Success EMEA. In these roles, they managed partner relationships, drove revenue through partnerships, and led co-marketing efforts. Violeta also created and implemented the Partner Referral Program and organized company events.
In 2021, Violeta became a Startup Mentor and continued their work at Unbabel as the Head of Enterprise Account Management EMEA.
Violeta Malheiro Swart completed their education with a postgraduate degree in Fashion and Lifestyle Journalism from the University of the Arts London in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism from the University of Westminster, graduating in 2013. Violeta attended Benjamin Franklin International School in Barcelona, Spain from 2007 to 2009. Violeta completed their secondary education at St Julian's School, obtaining a GSCE degree by 2007.
