Violeta Malheiro Swart has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Violeta started their career at St Julians School as a 1st grade Teacher's Assistant. Violeta then worked at Uniplaces as a Bookings Agent and Key Account Support, providing operational support for key accounts in the Portuguese, Spanish, German, and Italian markets.

In 2017, Violeta joined Web Summit as a Startups Coordinator, curating and fostering relationships with technology startups globally. Violeta also assisted in setting up the company's international office in Lisbon and managed office projects and vendor relationships.

From 2018 to 2021, Violeta worked at Unbabel in various roles, including Alliances (Partnerships) Manager, Senior Partnerships Manager, Senior Customer Success Manager, Customer Success Team Lead, and Head of Customer Success EMEA. In these roles, they managed partner relationships, drove revenue through partnerships, and led co-marketing efforts.
