Jody Thompson

Jody Thompson has extensive experience in foodservice management, currently serving as the Director of Auxiliary Services at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since November 2014, with prior roles including Interim Director and Food Service Program Manager. Previous positions include General Manager/Foodservice Director at Sodexo, overseeing multiple dining locations and managing a significant employee base, and Foodservice Director at Restaurant Associates, where responsibilities encompassed managing the Bank of America Conference Center and off-premise catering. Jody's career began as an Event Planner at Townsends Gourmet Inc. and is supported by a Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Food Operations and Restaurant Management from Bowling Green State University, along with an Associate's degree from Jamestown Community College.
