Lauren Matthews

Lauren Matthews, MPH, is a seasoned professional in public health and clinical research, currently serving as the Director of Operations for the Clinical Trial Patient Navigation Program and the LCCC Cancer Care Access Council at UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center since December 2020. Previous roles include Research Project Manager at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Research Program Coordinator III at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Matthews has also worked as a Research Specialist at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and held various research and assistant positions in public health settings. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Health Policy and Administration from the University of Illinois School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning and Public Affairs from the University of Illinois Chicago.
