Jonathan Batista

Jonathan Batista is an experienced instructional leader currently working at Uncommon Schools since August 2019, where responsibilities include training teachers to utilize data for student mastery and leading feedback meetings focused on instructional improvement. Prior to this role, Jonathan served as an 8th Grade History Teacher, Instructional Leader, and ENL Support Teacher. Past positions include teacher and learning specialist at Brooklyn Laboratory Charter School, apprentice teacher at Coney Island Prep, and group leader at both the Police Athletic League and SCO Family of Services. Jonathan holds a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Adolescence Education from St. John's University.
