Sam Bendinelli

Sam Bendinelli is an experienced education professional currently serving as the English Department Chair, Instructional Leader, AP Literature Lead Curriculum Planner, and English Teacher at Uncommon Schools since August 2019. Prior to this role, Sam worked as an English Teacher at Barringer High School from August 2013 to June 2019 and was a Corps Member with Teach For America from January 2013 to June 2015. Additional experience includes positions such as Editorial Web Intern at The New Republic and Managing Editor at the Yale Herald, showcasing strong editorial and leadership skills. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English and Political Science from Yale University, complemented by international study at Universidad de León.
