Jerson Del Rosario is an experienced professional with a diverse background in sociology, social policy, and development interventions. Currently serving as the Head of Solutions Mapping at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) since September 2019, Jerson focuses on merging social innovation methods with development practices, alongside conducting qualitative research and ethnography on urban issues and governance. Additionally, Jerson has held positions as an adjunct professor at Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, a national researcher for the Open Government Partnership in the Dominican Republic, and a consultant for various organizations, emphasizing social protection, gender issues, and sustainable development. Jerson holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Leicester, a Master's degree in Sociology and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Master's degree in Local Development and International Cooperation from Universidad Pablo de Olavide, among other qualifications.
