Sandra Wearne

Sandra Wearne is the founder and President/CEO of UNETY Systems, Inc., a full-service Internet firm based in the western suburbs of Chicago, with experience dating back to 1995. Previously, Sandra was a Founding Member of the Women Business Owners Roundtable from 1999 to 2005, and an Instructor at the Illinois Institute of Technology, developing and teaching courses on Internet management, marketing, and development. Prior roles include User Interface Design Trainer and Course Developer at Corporate Computing International, where professional courses were taught to Fortune 500 clients, and as President/CEO of The Point & Click Software Company, specializing in custom user interface design for MS Windows applications. Earlier in their career, Sandra held technical positions at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Bell Labs, and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Sandra earned a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art & Design with a minor in Environmental Studies from SUNY Oneonta.
