Kilani Paulik

Kilani Paulik has extensive experience in cybersecurity and information assurance. Since 2022, Kilani has been serving as the Director of Cybersecurity and Compliance at Unfold, where they are responsible for developing an information security program and IT strategy. Prior to this, Kilani worked at Axon from 2019 to 2022 as a Cloud Trust and Security Program Manager, focusing on international markets. In this role, they played a key role in expanding the company's operations in Australia and Canada by conducting information security assessments and building relationships with law enforcement agencies worldwide.

Before joining Axon, Kilani worked at TALATEK LLC from 2015 to 2019 as an Information Assurance Consultant, leading information security audits and serving as the Deputy Quality Management System Manager for ISO 17020:2012 audits. They also served as an Onboarding Manager for new hires in a remote workplace. Kilani's previous roles include working as a Security Test Engineer and Process Improvement Specialist at Knowledge Consulting Group, conducting security control assessments as a Risk and Compliance Analyst at Chickasaw Nations Industries, and providing technical support as a Senior Technical Support Analyst at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Kilani began their career at Best Buy as a Business Sales and Repairs Manager before transitioning to the College of William and Mary, where they served as a Support Technician and Network Maintenance Assistant in the Department of Information Technology.

Kilani Paulik completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from William & Mary, attending from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their undergraduate education, they have obtained several certifications. These include the "Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM)" certification from ISACA, achieved in August 2022, and the "Sumo Logic Fundamentals" certification from Sumo Logic, earned in June 2022. Kilani is also pursuing the "Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)" certification from (ISC)², although the specific month and year of completion are unknown.
