Eric Steggerda

Eric Steggerda has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Eric currently serves as the Managing Director, Field Operations at unfoldingWord, where they are responsible for implementing strategies, managing partnerships, and overseeing project funding. Eric also served as the Chief Operations Officer at unfoldingWord, where they focused on financial planning, operational partnerships, and organizational efficiency. Prior to joining unfoldingWord, Eric worked as a Principal at Freelance Management Consulting, providing consulting services to organizations in various sectors. Eric has also held senior positions at Marsh, ACI Worldwide, First Data Resources, Citibank, South Dakota, NA, and Midland National Life. Their roles in these companies involved strategic planning, project management, operational improvement, and business analysis. Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated expertise in financial management, partnership development, and process improvement.

Eric Steggerda attended the University of Sioux Falls from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Organizational Behavior. Prior to that, from 1978 to 1980, they attended Dordt University, studying Business Administration. Additionally, Eric Steggerda earned a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma for Service through Lean Six Sigma Certification.
