Gathoni Kungu

Gathoni Kungu is an accomplished Advocacy Consultant at UNICEF since January 2022, focusing on election strategies and political negotiations for improved election outcomes. Gathoni also serves as Vice President at YouthUp Global and has held various significant roles at the Kenya Film Classification Board from October 2016 to October 2022, including Board Acting Chairperson and member of the Board of Directors, where contributions included policy development and budget enhancement during a challenging election period. Gathoni has extensive experience in media production, having worked as a freelance media consultant and in various production roles at Spiel Works Media and other companies, managing logistics, overseeing project coordination, and producing content. Gathoni's educational background includes a Certified Higher Diploma in Addiction Counselling and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Daystar University.
