Julie Bara

Julie Bara is an experienced professional in the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) sector, currently serving as the Global WASH Cluster Deputy Coordinator for UNICEF since June 2021. Julie previously held the position of Middle East WASH Adviser at the Norwegian Refugee Council from October 2020 to June 2021, and has worked with UNICEF as a WASH Specialist from September 2017 to December 2019. Additional experience includes roles as a WASH Specialist at the Norwegian Refugee Council, WASH Manager at International Medical Corps, and WASH Adviser at the International Rescue Committee. Julie's early career features positions as WASH Coordinator at SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL, WASH assessment officer at ACTION CONTRE LA FAIM, Project Engineering Manager at Lenntech Water Treatment Solutions, and WatSan Technician with Médecins Sans Frontières Belgium.
