Mohammad Ali

Mohammad Ali is an experienced WASH Officer at UNICEF since July 2019, overseeing the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene program across rural and urban areas in Cox’s Bazar District. With a history at Oxfam since January 2011, Mohammad has held multiple roles including Public Health Engineer in the Global Humanitarian Team and Team Leader during the Cyclone Idai Emergency Response in Malawi, focusing on water and sanitation infrastructure and public health promotion. Other notable positions include WASH Coordinator in Ethiopia during the 2018 drought response and leadership roles in the Rohingya Refugee Response in Bangladesh. Educational qualifications include an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering, a Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Management, and a Master's in Public Health, among others. Mohammad's diverse experience spans multiple countries and contexts, emphasizing humanitarian response, public health, and infrastructure development.
