The Uniformed Firefighters Association of NYC is the labor union which represents about 9,000 active NYC/FDNY Firefighters (and as many as 25,000 members overall, including retired NYC Firefighters).
Our Mission
The objectives of the Uniformed Firefighters Association (UFA) are to:
    * Protect the rights of UFA members
    * Obtain better and safer working conditions
    * Secure adequate remuneration
    * Obtain the equitable resolution of grievances
    * Cultivate fellowship among its members
    * Foster the finest traditions of American citizenship
