Rachel Tates

Rachel Tates serves as the Operations Coordinator at Union Church since November 2021. Previous experience includes over eight years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where Rachel held various roles within Diversity and Inclusion, culminating as the Director of Student Access and Success. Responsibilities included managing strategic planning for access programming and overseeing initiatives for historically underrepresented populations. Earlier roles also involved coordinating recruitment programs and managing social media for diversity initiatives. Rachel's educational background features a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from The Johns Hopkins University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Public Relations and School of Media and Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
