Jasmin Bell has a diverse range of experience in talent development, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and curriculum development. Jasmin is currently the Director of Talent at the Union of Concerned Scientists. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Talent & Inclusion at the Humane Rescue Alliance, where they implemented a learning and training system to enhance team member skills. Jasmin also worked at Montgomery County Public Schools as a DEI subject matter expert, driving accountability for DEI goals and promoting transparency. Jasmin previously held the role of Culture & Equity Lead at the District of Columbia Public Schools, where they coordinated employee resource groups and researched diversity best practices. In their role at Orange County Public Schools, Jasmin was involved in developing and implementing a culture and equity curriculum framework to promote diversity and inclusivity.
Jasmin Bell earned a Bachelor's degree in Exceptional Student Education from Bethune-Cookman University, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Jasmin is currently pursuing a Master's of Science degree in Organizational Leadership at the American College of Education, expected to be completed in 2023. In addition, Jasmin has obtained several certifications, including Coaching and Developing Employees from LinkedIn in 2023, and Instructional Design Essentials: Models of ID and Instructional Design: Needs Analysis from LinkedIn in 2021. Jasmin also holds endorsements in Early Childhood/PreK-3 Grade Level and Non Categorical Spec. Ed/Prek-12 Grade Level, which were obtained in February 2018 from the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE).
