Joe Caccioppoli

As Group General Manager for Growth and Innovation, Joe is responsible for Unison’s investment strategy for growth through acquisitions and innovation. Strengthening business development and innovation capabilities for the entire Unison Group will be a key focus for this strategy which will also identify opportunities for new business, diversification and expansion.

Joe has over twenty five years’ experience in senior management positions, delivering multi-million dollar growth for large New Zealand and multi-national corporations like Fujitsu, Ricoh, Intergen and Spark.

The establishment of the Group General Manager for Growth and Innovation role is seen as a key investment to support Unison’s Vision of “Leading a sustainable energy future”. This will be achieved by prioritising business development programmes and investments that positively contribute to decarbonisation.

Joe holds technology, marketing and business management qualifications from Massey University, University of Waikato and University of Auckland.
