Barry Diep has a diverse range of work experience in the field of information technology. In 2007, they worked as a Consultant/System Support Technician/Network Administrator at Mount Alexander College. Barry then joined Telstra in 2011 as a Business Consultant. In 2013, they became a Customer Service Agent at DTZ, a UGL company. From 2015 to 2017, Barry worked at Logitrain as a Technical Support Analyst, where they provided various technical support services including email client support and software installation. Barry also worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Advantage Technology Solutions - Australia during the same time period. In 2016, Barry joined UniSuper as an Information Technology Technician and later transitioned to the role of End User Computing Engineer in 2017. Overall, Barry has demonstrated their abilities in technical support, customer service, and various IT roles throughout their career.

Barry Diep attended Debney Park Secondary College from 1998 to 2004, earning their VCE. From 2004 to 2008, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Computer System Management with a specialization in Information Technology and Management at Victoria University. Furthermore, in July 2021, Barry obtained the certification for Microsoft 10997 - Office 365 Administration and Troubleshooting from DDLS.
