Georgios Kontopidis

Georgios Kontopidis has extensive experience in automation testing. Georgios started their career in 2004 at Unify as a System Test Engineer and 1st line manager, where they managed automation testing activities and guided their team to achieve high quality software. Georgios was also involved in personally testing the PBX software using Java. In 2016, they joined UniSystems as an Automation Test Lead, where they are responsible for automating projects and providing consulting on automation testing implementations.

Georgios Kontopidis has a diverse education history. In 1995, they graduated from Thrakomakedones High School. Following this, they attended the University of Plymouth from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Georgios then continued their education at London South Bank University from 2001 to 2002. During this period, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.

In addition to their formal education, Georgios obtained two certifications. In December 2016, they achieved the ISTQB® Certified Tester – Foundation Level certification from iSQI GmbH. Later, in June 2021, they obtained the ISTQB® Certified Tester - Advanced Level - Test Automation Engineering certification from the ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
