Alex Vandenborn

Alex VandenBorn is a Geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently employed at UNIT CORPORATION since September 2014, Alex collaborates with multi-discipline teams to design and execute field development plans, maps potential fields for leasing efforts, and plans and geo-steers horizontal wells. Previously, Alex served as an MWD Engineer at Leam Drilling Systems LLC, where responsibilities included assisting in horizontal drilling using Measurement/Logging While Drilling techniques and managing formation data. Additional roles include Logging Geologist at Horizon Well Logging, LLC and Geology Intern at Weinkauf Petroleum, Inc. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geology from Oklahoma State University, completed in 2013.
