Jay Gines

Jay Gines has extensive experience in the aviation industry, spanning over two decades. Jay started their career in 2000 as an Instructor Pilot at Airline Training Center Arizona, where they later became a Flight Standards Pilot. In 2009, they joined Lufthansa Aviation Training USA, Inc. as the Head of Flight Operations, responsible for developing strategies and leading the flight operation. Jay also served as the Managing Director, overseeing the business unit's strategic direction and financial profitability. In 2023, Jay Gines joined United Aviate Academy as the Director of Flight Operations, leading a high-performing team responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing training operations. Their experience demonstrates a strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction, personnel development, and continuous improvement.

Jay Gines received their education from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where they studied Aeronautical Science from 1992 to 1997. Their field of study included Aviation, Aviation Safety, and Flight Training. In addition to their degree, Jay Gines obtained several certifications. In November 1997, they received their Flight Instructor, CFII (Certified Flight Instructor Instrument), and MEI (Multi-Engine Instructor) certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration. In May 1997, they also obtained their Commercial Pilot, ASEL (Airplane Single Engine Land), AMEL (Airplane Multi Engine Land), and Instrument certifications from the same institution.
