Larry Penepent has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Larry began their career in 1989 at McDonnell Douglas Space Systems Company, where they worked as an Engineer/Scientist, focusing on Delta Mission Check Out and Rocket Systems Testing. Larry then became a Lead Engineer, specializing in Delta II Launch Vehicle - Third Stage and Payload Spacecraft Satellite Processing. In 1997, Larry joined Boeing as a Senior Lead Engineer, working on Delta II/III/IV Launch Vehicles and Third Stage and Spacecraft Satellite Operations. Larry later served as a Program Operations Manager, overseeing Delta Mission Check Out and Delta II Launch Operations.

In 2006, Larry joined United Launch Alliance (ULA), where they held various roles. Larry first worked as a Program Operations Manager and Lead on Delta II/IV Launch Vehicle Operations at SLC-17A & 17B and SLC-37B. Later, they became the Lead Mechanical Engineer for Delta IV Launch Vehicle Pad Operations at SLC-37B. Most recently, they held the position of Lead Mechanical Engineer for VSFB/CCSFS ECS at SLC-2, SLC-3, SLC-6, and SLC-37.

Larry Penepent completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Larry then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College.
