Damaris Kabetu has extensive work experience in the United Nations system. Damaris started their career in 2002 at UN-Habitat, where they held multiple roles. As an Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Executive Director, they maintained the front office, managed information flow, and collaborated with various stakeholders. In their role in the Programme Support Division, they assisted the Director, conducted research, and handled incoming correspondence. As a Programme Assistant in the Urban Environmental Planning Branch, they processed agreements and payments and managed databases. Damaris also worked as a Secretary in the Safer Cities Programme, where they handled mail, maintained files, and assisted with logistics and travel arrangements. Currently, Damaris is working as a Programme Management Assistant at the United Nations Office at Nairobi, providing administrative support for new business acquisition, client relationship management, and front office operations.

Damaris Kabetu pursued higher education at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. From 2004 to 2008, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Office Management. Later, in 2016 and 2017, they furthered their education by completing a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the same institution.
