Rosario Sferco

Rosario Sferco is currently serving as a Field Officer and International Specialist with the UN Verification Mission in Colombia since October 2023. Prior to this role, Rosario worked at Xumek- Derechos Humanos from April 2021 to October 2023 as the Responsible for the International Strategic Litigation Secretariat, coordinating various tasks related to strategic litigation and developing human rights indicators for organizational projects. Additionally, Rosario was a Team Lead - Immigration Analyst at Colombo & Hurd, overseeing immigration cases for professionals and businesses globally, and also held positions as a Legal Intern and Adscripta en la Cátedra de Derecho Internacional Público. Other notable experiences include serving as a Jr. Lawyer at Martinez Urrutibehety focusing on legal cases in reorganization and bankruptcy, interning at the Public Defender’s office, and participating in the World Trade Organization as an intern. Rosario holds a Doctor of Law degree from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and has furthered studies in International Law and Economic, Social, Cultural, and Environmental Rights at prestigious institutions.
