Rima Kapadia

Rima Kapadia has a diverse work experience in the food safety and quality assurance field. Rima started their career at Cargill in 2006 as an Expertise Manager in Microbiology. Rima then moved to Land O'Lakes, where they served as the Quality Analytical Services Manager from 2008 to 2010. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Quality Assurance Auditor in Contract Manufacturing at Land O'Lakes. Rima then joined Target as a Food Safety Quality Assurance Program Manager from 2012 to 2014. Rima spent a significant portion of their career at SUPERVALU, where they worked as the Sr. Corporate Food Safety Director from 2014 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Food Safety & Quality Assurance at UNFI, starting in August 2020.

Rima Kapadia completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular & Cell Biology at the University of Connecticut from 2000 to 2004. Rima then pursued a Master of Science degree in Microbiology at the same university from 2004 to 2006.
