Casey Thornbrugh serves as the Program Manager for the Climate Change Program at United South and Eastern Tribes, Inc. since September 2017, also acting as a Tribal Climate Science Liaison funded by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Previously, Casey held the position of Director for the Natural Resources Department at Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe from November 2015 to August 2017 and served as Project Director at Tohono O'odham Community College from January 2008 to October 2015, where responsibilities included directing sustainability initiatives and teaching courses on weather, climate, and Geographic Information Systems. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Geography with a minor in American Indian Studies, and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Arizona and The University of New Mexico, respectively.
