Jordan Booth

Jordan Booth, Ph.D., serves as the Sr. Director of Course Consulting Service at the United States Golf Association (USGA) since May 2021, following roles as Director and Green Section Agronomist within the same organization. Prior to this, Jordan contributed to the Virginia Tech Turfgrass Team as a Research Associate from January 2018 to May 2021, focusing on research and extension in the turfgrass industry. Jordan also gained experience as a Green Section Intern with the USGA in July 2018 and spent nearly a decade as Golf Course Superintendent at Willow Oaks Country Club. Academic achievements include a Ph.D. from Virginia Tech, Master's in Plant Pathology, Physiology, and Weed Science, and a Bachelor's in Turfgrass Management from Clemson University.
