Heather McGee

Heather McGee, DBA has a diverse and extensive work experience. Heather currently holds the position of Senior Strategic Director (Commander) at the United States Space Force, where they oversee mission operations and personnel activities for a defense area and military base. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Operations Director (Commander) at the same organization and led a multinational team.

Heather has also worked as a Member of the "Project Transition USA" Group on LinkedIn, where they provided training and assistance to transitioning military personnel. Heather has served in various roles in the United States Air Force, including Provost (Vice Commandant) and Assistant Professor, Budgeting Director, Director of Education And Training, Director of Commander's Action Group, and Director of Plans and Policy.

Additionally, Heather has experience in academia as the Department Chair and Professor of Aerospace Studies at the University of Central Florida. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Managing Director of the Cyberspace Strategy and Policy Division at Air Force, Chief Business Strategist at NATO Air Training Command - Afghanistan, and Ballistic Missile Instructor and Crew Commander.

Throughout their career, Heather has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic planning expertise, and a commitment to supporting military personnel.

Heather McGee, DBA, received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1992. Heather went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1997. In 2006, they received a Master of Science (MS) degree in Military Operational Art and Science/Studies from Air University, followed by a Master of Science (MS) degree in Strategic Studies from the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies in 2008. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree in Business Administration at the University of Phoenix in 2013.
