Abdullahi Iftin

Abdullahi Iftin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Abdullahi most recently worked as a Corporate Engagement Coordinator at United Way of Salt Lake, where they collaborated with the Corporate Engagement team to develop resources and manage workplace giving campaigns for corporate partners. Prior to this, Abdullahi served as a Cultural Navigator at University Neighborhood Partners, assisting in bridging cultural gaps and facilitating communication between different communities. Abdullahi also worked as a Volunteer Assistant at Granite Education Foundation, where they organized donations, maintained inventory records, and informed volunteers about opportunities. Abdullahi gained experience as an Office Specialist I at Utah Department of Workforce Services, where they documented and maintained confidential records for customer benefit cases. Additionally, they worked with United Way as part of the Collective Impact (Grassroots Team), building relationships and coordinating community events. Earlier in their career, Abdullahi worked as a Customer Service Specialist at Budget Rent A Car of Utah, addressing customer inquiries, completing rental agreements, and promoting additional features to increase revenue. Abdullahi also worked as a Security Guard at Raging Waters, providing information to visitors, responding to disruptive behavior incidents, and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors.

Abdullahi Iftin has a diverse education history. From 2019 to 2021, they attended the University of Utah, where they focused on Human Development, Family Studies, and Related Services. Although they did not obtain a degree from this institution, they gained knowledge in this field. Before that, Abdullahi attended Salt Lake Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Psychology. The specific duration of their enrollment at this college is unknown. Prior to their college education, Abdullahi received their High School Diploma from East High School, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.

Alongside their academic journey, Abdullahi has also acquired additional certifications. Abdullahi completed the Sales Negotiation program offered by LinkedIn in April 2023 and obtained the Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for All certification from LinkedIn in March 2023. In July 2019, Abdullahi successfully completed the Refugee Leadership Training Program through the Utah Department of Workforce Services Refugee Services Office.
