Joanna Maxwell

Joanna Maxwell is an experienced professional in economic mobility and community development with a demonstrated history of managing grant programs and fostering collaborative partnerships. Currently serving as Manager of Economic Mobility at both the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and The Promise PHL, Joanna oversees significant financial stability initiatives and directs substantial investments in nonprofit partnerships. Previous roles include Emergency Management Specialist at FEMA, where Joanna facilitated disaster recovery assistance, and Project Director at Amigos de las Americas, where Joanna established partnerships to promote community projects. Joanna holds a Master of Public Administration in Community Development from Rutgers School of Public Affairs and Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from Western Oregon University.
