Andy Pahl

Andy Pahl has a strong background in cybersecurity and information security. Andy currently works as a Cybersecurity Team Lead at United Wholesale Mortgage, where they started in September 2023. Prior to this, they held a role as an Information Security Analyst III at the same company from April 2023 to August 2023.

Before joining United Wholesale Mortgage, Andy worked at Ally as a Data Loss Prevention Specialist from February 2021 to March 2023. Andy also gained experience at Rehmann as an ITSS IT Security Audit Analyst from December 2019 to January 2021, and at CBI | Cyber Security Solutions as a SOC Security Analyst II from August 2019 to November 2019, and as a SOC Security Analyst from July 2018 to November 2019.

Andy's first job in the industry was at General Motors, where they worked as an Advanced IT Help Desk Agent from August 2015 to April 2018. However, the department was shut down, which led to their departure.

Andy Pahl earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Central Michigan University in 2015. In 2018 and 2019, Andy obtained multiple certifications including CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), CompTIA Security+ SY0-501, CompTIA Network+ N10-007, Fortinet NSE-1, InsightVM Certified Administrator, and Symantec Sales Expert certifications in various areas of IT and security. Additionally, Andy completed training courses in Managing Teams and New Manager Foundations through LinkedIn, and IBM BigFix Platform Foundations.
