Rahul Bhotika

Rahul Bhotika is the Chief AI Officer at UnitedHealth Group since June 2022, leading a team focused on advanced machine learning and AI solutions across various healthcare domains to improve health outcomes and efficiency. Prior to this role, Bhotika served as the Director of Computer Vision Research for AWS AI-ML at Amazon from November 2014 to May 2022, where responsibilities included developing next-gen computer vision algorithms and enabling product discovery through image-based search. Bhotika's earlier experience at GE Global Research spanned over six years, where roles included Portfolio Director for Healthcare IT and Services Research and Manager of the Image Analytics Lab, focusing on innovative imaging solutions and algorithm development. Bhotika holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Rochester and a B Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
