Marissa Alaniz

Marissa Alaniz, MA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Resource Development at United Way of Greater Toledo, where Marissa leads the Resource Development team in various fundraising initiatives and donor management strategies. Prior experience includes roles at AMOS Health & Hope, where Marissa developed major gifts programs and coordinated significant fundraising events, and at Food Gatherers, where Marissa managed annual giving and grant development efforts. Marissa holds a Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies and multiple certificates in fundraising management and leadership from Indiana University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Sociology from the University of Michigan.
