Edson Velozo

Edson Velozo is an experienced medical professional with a strong background in clinical medicine and rheumatology. Currently serving at Universidad Adventista del Plata since March 2008, Edson holds the positions of Titular Professor and Adjunct Professor for Clínica Médica II, as well as Secretary of Extension for the Faculty of Health Sciences. Additionally, Edson has been the Medical Manager and Head of the Rheumatology Unit at Sanatorio Adventista del Plata since January 2008, contributing to the institution as Director of the Department of Teaching and Research and Secretary of Academic Affairs. Edson also served as President of the Asociación de Reumatología del Noreste Argentino from December 2020 to December 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Rheumatology Physician at Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires from April 2005 to December 2007. Edson's education includes a Medical degree from Universidad Adventista del Plata, followed by specializations in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology from the same institution and University of Buenos Aires, respectively.
