Daniel Theisen

Daniel Theisen currently serves as Directeur at ALAN - MALADIES RARES LUXEMBOURG since January 2019 and has held the position of Invited Professor at Universidad Finis Terrae since January 2012. Prior to this, Daniel was an Invited Professor at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven from October 2011 to September 2021 and Head of the Sports Medicine Research Laboratory at Luxembourg Institute of Health from January 2007 to December 2018. Daniel’s academic contributions also include positions as Chargé de cours invité and Assistant Professor at Université catholique de Louvain, where Daniel was active from 1994 to 2017. Daniel holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation from Université catholique de Louvain, obtained between 1994 and 1999.
