Javier Garcia

Javier Garcia is an experienced professional with a strong background in operations and manufacturing management, currently serving as the Plant Manager at Fabrica de Chocolates Granada since September 2020. In this role, Javier leads operations across two production sites in Guatemala, focusing on product supply and strengthening human resources, while overseeing infrastructure projects for sustainable growth. Previously held positions include Gerente de Mantenimiento Industrial y Proyectos, where responsibilities involved enhancing production capacity and ensuring maintenance plans were executed effectively. In academia, Javier has been a university lecturer at multiple institutions, including Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, Universidad Galileo, and Universidad Da Vinci de Guatemala since 2014. Javier's extensive experience in the healthcare industry includes roles at Bayer HealthCare, culminating in the position of Manufacturing Head. Javier holds a PhD in Administration of High Performance Teams and a Master's in Financial Administration, alongside a degree in Industrial Mechanical Engineering.
