Reed Hurley

Reed Hurley has a strong work experience in the healthcare industry, primarily in finance and leadership roles. Reed started their career in 2002 as a Hospital CFO at Health Management Associates, where they worked until 2008. From 2003 to 2005, they were also the CFO of HMA Sandhills Regional Medical Center. In 2008, they joined Baptist Health System as a CFO and stayed there until 2014. In the same year, they joined University Health System as an Assistant CFO and quickly rose to the position of Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer.

Reed Hurley holds a Master's degree in Accounting, obtained from Nova Southeastern University from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from the University of Houston between 1983 and 1987. Additionally, Reed is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certified by the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners.
